Samsung Family Hub 5.0.6

The Samsung Family Hub app is now compatible only with Family Hub refrigerators running on TIZEN 4.0 Software version or earlier.

However, if you have a Samsung Family Hub refrigerator operating on TIZEN 6.0 Software version or above, please note that the Family Hub app will no longer be supported. In this case, we recommend downloading and using the SmartThings app as an alternative.

Within the Family Hub device card, you will still find convenient features such as uploading pictures and videos.

Furthermore, food-related features like View Inside, Recipe Recommendation, Meal Planner, Shopping List, and Food List can be accessed through the SmartThings Cooking Service.

To check your Software version on your Family Hub refrigerator, simply go to Settings > About Family Hub> Software version > TIZEN 6.0.

For the seamless functioning of the app service, certain permissions are required. The following are the access permissions:

• Contacts: The registered Samsung Account information will be utilized to provide services that necessitate account linking.

• [Optional Access Permission]

• Microphone: Required for recording voice for features like Memo and Whiteboard.
• Storage: Needed to enable cloud-connected functionalities for sharing photos and videos.
